ABOUT THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Sometimes jokingly referred to as ‘the lazy persons Yoga’, Thai Yoga Massage is a therapeutic manual massage practice, with its roots in Buddhism, Ayurveda and Hatha Yoga. At ‘Bodyworks Holland’ we combine these ancient practices and teachings, with modern understanding of the body, as well as our extensive trainings and continually expanding knowledge, as Yoga teachers and Bodyworkers.
The client remains fully clothed, throughout the session, with the practice taking place on a soft supportive mattress on the ground. Your therapist will then support and manipulate the body of the client, through various passive postures, applying pressure to various acupressure points, gently stretching the body and articulating the joints.
